I just got so disappointed that he was with Trump in that press conference recently. I dont know the full situation, I guess he was there to get some funding for some martial arts stuff, but seeing him friendly with Trump was very sad.
I dont care about American politics but Trump as a person is just horrible, so its not about the politics. Its about the person.
Apparently I was born a man. Still feel like a child though…
Still nothing but right trash!
Damn, how do I become a man now that I never subscribed to Joe Rogan’s podcast in the first place. 🌝
That makes you sexier. 🙂
Right? I don’t even know what his voice sounds like.
imagine the dumbest pothead from your high school, 40 years later, but still hasn’t had any mental or emotional growth. that’s what he sounds like, and also coincidentally what he is (no hate to my fellow potheads ftr, but there’s a stereotypical tone and cadence and he’s got it)
If you must know, do it by watching NewsRadio instead of his podcast.
I was JUUUUUUST about to say that!
Most of the cast is incredible.
…and then there’s joe rogan and andy dick.
GOOD. Don’t look for yourself, it’s every bit as unmanly as it gets.
You were born one already! Congratulations.
❤️😅
What if I was born a baby? Can I still be a man on some Tuesdays?
I’m proud of you, bro.
You are a Übermensch. different category altogether.
Oy what a mensch tho
You need to sneak into the cave where Joe Rogan lives and steal one of his vapes. If you can do this then you will become a man.
You were born a man
Same way a cub scout becomes a boy scout, I suppose.
You have to subscribe, then unsubscribe
Send them a letter registered mail with delivery confirmation that says only "unsubscribe’ on a postcard. Have it be a really silly postcard, maybe about possum?
Anyways that’s how I got my ninth and tenth testicles (going for that baker’s dozen!)

I’ve never heard of any of those, and never watched or listened to Joe Rogan. Does that make me… normal ?
I have a friend that started saying some weird stuff. I asked if he listened to rogan and they said that he’s great and got defensive right away. I wonder if they ever figured out how I knew they listened to rogan or thought about it at all.
Getting defensive means they know it’s bad, but somehow still pretend to themselves it’s not?
It means they haven’t faced their shadow, let alone integrated it.
Nah, getting defensive means they ran out of talking points they’ve been fed and don’t know how to think for themselves.
It’s like someone who plays EA sports game by themselves on easy and then throw the controller when they get smoked playing against another person
Huh? Is this how people interpret defensiveness? That’s wild to me. If someone told me they thought it was a good idea for them to steal all my stuff and kill me, for instance, you best believe I’m getting defensive. People get defensive when you attack something they want to defend.
Yeah English is not a clear, direct language.
When English speakers say someone gets defensive, it usually doesn’t refer to literally the act of mounting a defense, without any moral connotation.
Instead, they usually refer to someone telling on themselves, by mounting a defense where there was no attack intended on them.
Like that recent trump interview, where pedophiles got mentioned, and he immediately “got defensive”, screaming that he’s not a pedophile, even though nobody made that statement about him in that interview.
lol, you just proved their point quite well. Your example implicitly equates listening to Joe Rogan with theft and murder.
No, that’s a misunderstanding. I am not making that equation at all. And even if that was the way you wanted to read it, you’d have it backwards. The person criticizing Rogan is the one I “would be equating” with theft and murder. But, of course, I’m not saying that either. You’ve simply misunderstood me.
I was giving an example of someone saying something that attacks something that’s important to me, namely, my property and my well-being. And using this to linguistically illustrate how, even though I definitely believe that my property and my well-being are something that’s right for me to maintain, I might still get defensive about it when someone attacks it.
In my example, the thief is the attacker and I am the defender. In the original context, the Rogan-criticizer is the attacker (of a belief, basically) and the Rogan-listener is the defender.
My point was to show that people get defensive when something important to them is attacked, regardless of whether they’re “pretending not to know its bad” or not. I certainly am not pretending not to know that my well-being is bad.
I know its tempting to want to take every opportunity to dunk on the Rogan listeners and be like “lol, they’re getting defensive because deep down they know they’re wrong!”, but that is just a nonsensical way of thinking. Especially when they’ve already given us a legitimate reason to dunk on them, which is that they like to listen to a moron.
Does that help clarify what I was saying?
Dude… we get it, you listen to Rogan, but nobody is crucifying you for that but yourself.
Next time just say nothing, seriously.
I do not listen to Rogan, I hate Rogan. I’m assuming you’re being sarcastic but, yknow, may the record show that I do not like Joe Rogan one bit lol
From your responses so far, I don’t believe you, and it would be very hard to change my mind, I also really don’t fucking care. I was more addressing your response in general.
It really is better to just walk away sometimes, friend. You’re really not doing yourself any favors. Take the L now, it will only get bigger and there is no W in this for you.
Shame!
It is most likely that they really don’t know and are just being defensive like most people get when someone points out they are wrong.
Not always. For example, if I were “caught” eating pig meat in a Muslim country, I would probably be defensive. Without that actually meaning that I genuinely thought there were anything bad about eating pig meat.
As an analogy, you can in theory be defensive about watching Joe Rogan without genuinely thinking there is anything wrong with Joe Rogan.
A lot of people aren’t aware of most things.
It’s a little different but there’s an artist who got caught with a teenager. Sucks cuz I loved his music but when other people find out I’ve been to their shows I usually bring that part up. Most people who listen to him don’t even know about it until I tell them. He just wasn’t famous enough for it to pop in everyone’s algorithm. People rely on tiktok, reels and shorts for most of their information. If it doesn’t trend for them then they don’t know about it. They also form opinions based off of their algorithm.
It’s not everyone but a concerning amount.
I will say, though, if someone can clock that he’s a regular listener to a specific podcast after he tells them some (as he sees it) common sense opinions on everyday topics like dating, then that is worth taking note of and doing some introspection rather than getting defensive.
If someone was telling me about their Alexa spying on them, and I threw out a “Mulch the rich”, and they replied “Oh, you listen to the MBMBaM podcast?” I would think “Shit, am I being brainwashed without realizing it? That podcast isn’t even political…”
Seconded, with a motion for comment.
Oh no, I guess I better so go subscribe so that I can unsubscribe
Jamie, look that up.
does that work for a girl too? Does it come with free testosterone?
You will sprout a dick the instant you unsub
I like this one. Since I have never subscribed to any podcast my man card is still in play.
I’ve watched a few of his podcasts. But they’re the ones with aliens, history, conspiracy stuff. His political stuff is crap.
I’ve never listened to one of his podcasts.
Consider checking out “The know Rogan experience”, a podcast that listens to Rogan and points out all the crazy stuff being said
Nah. Those type of podcasts don’t interest me even in the slightest. I prefer entertaining ones. Stories being told and acted, interesting facts, etc.
Climate town popped up on my YouTube feed last week about how Landman is blatant bullshit propaganda. Cuts to a blowroganexperience clip with tsheridan where they basically agree with each other and sucking each other off about how much smarter they are while giving percentages about shit…I’ll let you watch and form your own opinions
Okay cool everything isn’t about you, especially not this post since you have no relation to Joe Rogan AT ALL. Why are you commenting again? Just pointing out you don’t care about this conversation… Very nice bro you’re so extremely cool, please fuck off now thx
This is a shitposting group; I don’t think personal investment in the topic is a precursor to commenting here…
But it’s not funny either, it’s just a weird flex
If it’s a flex to be a man to unsub from his podcast, a real man or woman never subbed in the first place.
I don’t fuck with essentialism. If you feel like a man, you’re a real man.
You should actually check out lost terminal! Great fictional story told through the lens of a sentient ai who is born aboard a space station and has to crash land on earth set in post apocalyptic hope punk vibes 🫡
That one sounds familiar. But I’ll check it.
I did one better. I cancelled my Spotify the second they signed him.
I did even one better. I never had spotify
I tried Spotify right after Google music and Google podcast was murdered and I just hated the interface, the format, etc. After 2 weeks I was done.
Google play music was one of the only good platforms I’d literally rather pirate and build manual syncing than use anything that’s out there
I tried once 6 years ago, it was bad and I couldn’t finish one episode.
During lockdown we were getting slammed and I was working 10 - 11 hour shifts and was finishing all my podcasts and had run out of audiobooks. So just needing something to listen to while I worked I gave his show a shot. Listened to two episodes and then signed up for Tidal and just started listening to music instead.
Joe Rogan was so bad bro left podcasts as a medium entirely

And that’s a low bar.
And real mean never subscribed in the first place
Old rogan was fine. It was just silly stoners getting high and bsing about aliens and which animal would win in a fight. It was stupid but entertaining. He wasn’t always a right wing dingus.
there’s nothing wrong with character growth
but, yes, you couldn’t be a decent person and subscribe to it because you thought it was valuable content
I used to listen to Rogan a lot. Because IMO he is a great interviewer and he was great at creating a casual environment.
His interviews with Burr and Chapelle were great, and I love the one with Tarantino.
I did not follow on his UWF fights nor the conspiration videos, since I am not into that.
I never had him as a valid political interlocutor so I did not disengage until he overtly supported Trump. Then the mask was completely off and it was obvious that he is a grifter.
Rogan is a very skilled influencer, he is very smart and he has his guests doing the talking.
When I disengaged, I notice how often he is recommended innsuggestions, exactly like the “WOKES OWNED” kind of wideos.
He is another part of this machinery that the Elites have created to divide and conquer the plebes.
Never shame people for getting better… It’s counterproductive and honestly weirdly spitefull, why are you not just happy they saw they light?
I’m not going to sneer at someone because I started on 3rd base and they started in the battery’s box
The battery to like, power the baseball machine
I think sits spelled Blernsball…
