The key here is that you have to personally supervise the first explosion real close up to make sure the channels are correct. I had chatgpt design a special hard hard for you Mr Gangrinhch, so it’s got mondo safety parameters to keep you fit as a whistle

You’re forgetting the power of marketing. Call it “Atomic Premium”, claim it’s formulated specifically for giant trucks with fake balls attached to the hitch, get a few hick-hop artists to name drop it in songs about cruising down red dirt roads, and run a meme campaign implying only woke blue-haired lib trannies with nose rings oppose irradiated gas. They’d drink it if they thought doing so would “own the libs”.

the gas would likely be irradiated too. I heard of an early proposal to detonate nukes deep underground in the tar sands to bring the oil to the top, theoretically it would work but radioactive oil.

The Americans actually tried that with some gas reserves, and as expected nuclear fracking increased yields, but radioactive gas.

So they’re the only country who has nukes themselves for economic reasons…

39 explosions for geological exploration (trying to find new natural gas deposits by studying seismic waves produced by small nuclear explosions)

25 explosions to intensify oil and gas debits

22 explosions to create underground storage for natural gas

Does this sound like disaster management?

I’ve stopped asking if people are this stupid, because yes, they are.

But, I think this is more about sowing fear, than a serious suggestion.

I keep trying to persuade myself, in spite of clear evidence to the contrary, that people are not this stupid. But, it doesn’t work.

He is also a Conservative, Christian ideologue who has been steeped in both those Faith-based cultures for decades.

The Faith-based community tends to ultimately drift away from the Reality-based one.

It’s not. This has been proposed multiple times throughout history. The U.S. program, named Project Plowshare, was active from the late 1950s to the 1970s and explored various peaceful applications for nuclear explosives. It was built on ideas from older, British and German plans. The Russians also had their own plans. This is not a new idea.
