Fuck, I still do
Close, but not quite the same. I used my fingers as the imaginary runner, leaping from thing to thing, riding wires, etc.
I loved sonic riders, so instead of the Lil dude doing parkour, he had a hoverboard to do sick tricks Sometimes the Lil dude was tony hawks
It’s more fun in a high speed train
I wonder what it will do to kids these days that they don’t use their imaginations like this. Kids today will be glued to electronic devices.
I just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out wtf anime that is on the top because the style looks like exactly what I’m into, and it turns out I’ve already seen it lmao
Bubblegum Crisis, it’s rad as fuck
From one of the best episodes IMO.
Nah, I just imagine the vehicles two lanes over is armed with lasers and if there’s a car in between us, it deflects the laser, otherwise, I lose 1 HP.
(The clouds that look like a face are deities watching you. Trees are sentient and waving at you)
Similar thing with walking. All moving cars have lasers and parked cars shield you from the lasers.
Also, the gap in between two squares of cement on the sidewalks have lava, make sure to not step over the gap.
I’m an adult and I still do this lol.
Grew up in a cold part of the world, was a skier doing grinds and flips, but yeah, same idea!
I hadn’t remembered this in years, but I always imagined myself out there like the Flash and how my older brothers were in the car watching me burn it up and being super impressed. I literally might not have remembered that during my entire adult life. Thanks for reminding me. Although I was more like seven at the time.
Regrettably no. I would imagine myself unhinge my jaw and eat all the trees and brushes we would pass. For whatever reason, kindergarten-me strongly believed that everything without a heartbeat looked very delicious and edible. Trees, clouds, snow, sand, windmills, brick buildings, flags, other cars, busses and the sun itself.
Grew out of that phase when I began school, but yeah. In a way I kinda miss being so young and new to living that you’re still figuring out what is and isn’t possible. The world seemed a lot more fun when you didn’t yet know the rules, lol.
Nah, it was my imaginary friend doing bmx tricks, we didn’t have parkour back then.
Also, how could a person run fast enough to keep up with a motor vehicle? Sheesh, does your imagination completely ignore science? You gotta have at least a bicycle to keep up.
Also, this is the first time I’ve ever seen or heard someone else talk about this kind of daydream. So, it’s pretty fucking cool, even though the details aren’t the same.
Tony Hawk’s
You guys got a window seat?
I always wanted to go here:
Just follow them on and on until I reached some presumably paradisaical location.
I can hear this photo. Take some fluorescent bulbs along and go at night.
Seattle has a park/trail like this
No, all of ya’ll are crazy. The dot of dirt on the window was the aiming device for a laser, and you had to use it to cut all the electrical wires without cutting trees or the poles, because those are wood and it would start a fire.
