Fair point. In this case, the adults who voted for Trump may go bankrupt, but they nor their families will starve, ironically because of the social programs they are also likely opposed to. In Gaza, even the adults have less access to education that might give them a chance of critical thinking, and the children are dying. That’s not funny in any way. So I suppose it’s a matter of degrees, but it’s such a different degree that it’s hard for me to see it as similar.

I can say all I want that “Snopes says ‘trump eats babies’ is a fact”. If I don’t link that source, as a news website you should not trust me. There’s no reason to exclude it, except to normalize not providing your sources and then later on you can slip in whatever bullshit you want because now nobody has a source to check when you state things.
