Tank man didn’t even get ran over like we were all told in school. He walked up and climbed on the tank and had a conversation with the guy and left the scene. Begging a bystander to move doesn’t look very authoritarian to me.
In the US if I tried to step in front of a tank I’d either be shot on the spot or taken to a black site where my teeth and skin are removed.
