    I didn’t know this asshole was a limey. I read back 2020 ish he was on a crusade to pull the catholics over to the dark side more. He’s a little late to the punch in the US, the catholic establishment is pretty hardcore right wing here unlike many other places.

        Cavil is apparently a petty or unnecessary objection.

        That is the thing with catholics, they aren’t all on the wrong side. Their members are like half and half more good than bad in the US. Even as the American Clergy skews hard right nazi. But not all. Hence Yiannopolis’ campaign to pull more to support naziism. Because that worked so well last time!

    The thing with Fascists is that they’re jingoist as fuck, so they can at best tolerate foreign Fascists (and only as long as they can use them as useful idiots) before, ultimately, treating them like they do all other foreigners.

    This is why, as Meloni recently found out with Trump, even when they’re looked to as an inspiration by foreign Fascists, they’re looking down on them.

    The only foreigners they don’t do turn on are the ultra-rich that keep giving them money.

    What a weird timeline we live in. Suddenly everyone who despises ICE to their core is now pro-ICE. Guess they were always just upset that they didn’t have their own fascist thugs they could use against people they didn’t want in the country.

      I’m not pro-ICE at all. I don’t support their actions, and if given the choice would not have sent ICE after him or anyone else.

      But if you are an orphan, you advocate for orphans to get tossed in an orphan grinding machine, and then the thugs who run the machine come to throw orphan you in the orphan grinding machine, I can take a moment to smile at the irony while still being horrified by and totally opposed to the existence of orphan grinding machine.

    According to DHS, Yiannopoulos legally entered the U.S. in May 2019 through New York City ​but “chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.”

    “Yiannopoulos was issued a final order of removal by an immigration judge on July 22, after failing to show up for his immigration hearing,” the DHS ​statement said. “He will remain in ICE custody pending removal.”
