I think one of the big shocks in my life was realizing how rape really is a thing in the animal kingdom. There were two orangutans at the zoo, and the female was definitely NOT wanting to have sex. Male orangutans are massive compared to females though, and they were in a small enough cage she couldn’t get away from him.
