An aside from trans memes, but I noticed I play as a woman more in voiced games vs the old silent protagonist games. They usually direct the male voice as flat and gritty and the female voice tends to have more range. True in both fallout 4 and cyberpunk at the very least. Makes the male action hero voice boring.

Even in situations where the male actor is good, the long period of stoicism just grates on me. Male Shepard just ends up sounding ridiculous with his seriousness for example.

You have an entire game around you to look at but you’re only looking at your characters ass? That just makes you sound weird imo
Your character Is dead centre of the screen and everything orients around them. They are never not out view. If you’re focusing on trees and rocks you probably die a lot.
Idk personally I’m barely looking at my character except for a quick glance. Normally I’m scanning the environment for enemies, details, secrets, loot, etc. It doesn’t even matter what kind of game. I have more important things to look at than my character let alone their ass
