Cars are more convenient than a bus route locally but long distance travel where everyone can sleep to be rested for vacation and there no big security theater for local travel and I just keep my bags and snacks? Ugh so good.

I fled from one parent before 18 and managed to basically force my estranged father into taking me in but the only reason I didn’t get kicked out at 18 by him was because I had 2 months of school left, was gone the second that wasn’t true anymore (both Gen X).

Yeah, that’s my go to for first aid. I actually Cary around saline solution though in my first aid kit for sterility and you just spray it on as needed to wash debris and particulates. People are already in enough pain don’t need to burst cell walls that survived as well.

Then it’s a out bandaging and replacing and cleaning the area as needed. I’m a big fan of the newer hydrocolloid bandages, even though you don’t heal faster it’s far more consistent and the whole surface being sticky and absorbing means it can hold more fluid and cover odd size wounds.

Funny enough it’s not the gear it’s absolutely the small wheel size that is the issue. More surface tension so you lose momentum faster and have to keep pedalling plus a small turn to avoid things means a larger degree turn meaning easier wipeouts. The pedaling if any bike is pretty standard and you can just match the size of the gears as need proportional to the wheel.
It’s just those tiny wheels suck.
