it’s not a fair comparison, we’re selling alcohol WAY above it’s cost, and AI WAY below it’s cost.

It’s those goddamn propane RV fridges, the pilots blow out frequently.

At the moment the US is killing more innocent Iranians than Iran is.

I don’t know how many people we should have, but there are some metrics we could look at and maybe say beyond a certain point managing these metrics becomes harder as we scale, or even impossible.
If we had kept our population low enough, we could have subsisted on a timer and whale blubber energy policy indefinitely. :P
edit: It’s always a controversial opinion to say there are too many people, but there probably are, at least the way we are behaving in this world. Many of the problems we are fighting are symptoms of us trying to scale upwards as hard as we can so we can collectively use our credit cards and hand the debt off to multiple kids. It’s a bad practice.

Every new low I hope we’ve found the bottom

This is a good opportunity to perform some introspection and think about what kind of mistakes led you to the wrong conclusion on this issue.
Me personally? Copyright is failing your advocated purposes of protecting artists work and their living, and living up to my belief that it was the wrong tool all along. Maybe you could use some of that.

does she float?

I don’t know why schools, even at the elementary level, tend to have internal policing rather than handling everything off to the actual police. Every subgroup (like a frat) becomes another level of legal obfuscation in this kind of environment.

My eye is twitching because I want to have a classic New Yorker “what is upstate New York” argument
Cornell is in the Finger Lakes region

The compiler was never meant to be a source code obfuscating tool anyway, the real sea change is Copyright being ignored. I’ve always wanted Copyright to go away, but it’s going away in a way different than anything I’d imagined and I don’t know what to think about that.
The obvious upside is we can sort of return to a time when every game was openly moddable. 25 years ago almost every hot game was a mod of another game.

The Amiga computer in 1985.
Unreal, the old Epic Games game around 1999
both were similar experiences.
That’s not very handicapped accessible then.

I’m sticking to i7-2600/ddr3 class machines untill the new Enron crashes

We have both kinds, country and western!
No, not chronologically, it’s just the bit- “Jimmy Kimmel: Obamacare vs. Affordable Care Act Prank” wrote it that way.
I bet more support could be had if the name were focus grouped to appeal to the same people that didn’t like Obamacare until it was renamed

the details have all been worked out in a plan called Freedom 35
I fucking love Plasma. the only thing keeping me on Windows is my love for both Directory Opus and MobaXterm.
KDE could be run on windows at one point, is that still possible?
