The race in District 7 is between incumbent commissioner and Ann Arbor Democrat Andy LaBarre and Green Party candidate Mary Kozonis-Marudas.

To be fair, the OC was speaking about engagement. So the point was unrelated to the article itself, but more on the general style of engagement (like in the comments).
