    This is fantastic, in my opinion.

    Everybody knows exactly what this is. They can’t blame “spin”, they can’t demonize their own programming, they can’t say they’ve been “misquoted”, no more “taken out of context”, they will be forced to pick their own cherries.

    This leaves them without any plausible deniability. Hours of programming means hours of incompetence on display for all to see.

    I’m actually excited about this development. GOOD JOB MORONS

    It’s not surprisng he doubled down. That’s his only move.

    I don’t think he can legally have any press at all unless he gives equal access to all press. Even a state-run agency is not exempted.

    I mean maybe he’ll get special permission from SCOTUS, but it will come to that.

    Also the name on the network implies he intends to keep the station privately, and that runs contrary to the notion the channel is state run.

      Nah, not “state run”. It will just get funds from the government and rich friends, and most of it will be funnelled in his pocket as usual, all to only report on what HE is doing or saying. Maybe cable ops will be forced to include it in their packages, who knows?
