It appears to be false, but apparently they’re aiming to have it out by 2027. All I can say is that I don’t envy the producers — their necks will be on the line from MAGA to get it right, with no room to miss the mark.
Maybe they should consult Alec Baldwin (mind you, he might be a little rusty…)
Also, just in case anyone doubts it’s fake: https://tribune.com.pk/story/2619982/is-obsession-star-michael-johnston-playing-charlie-kirk-viral-rumor-sparks-buzz
That said, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that this could happen one day…
His face is too proportional.
Just not getting those “punch it” energy either.
Tell the producers, maybe you can persuade them like the sonic producers into changing his face
It’s the kind of lie that’s easy to believe, because it’s exactly the kind of thing a chud film maker would want to do.
you can tell it’s fake because they didn’t make him a mrs doubtfire type mask that kirksliders his face
Speaking of Baldwin…
This is like the modern day equivalent of the Roman’s crucifying Jesus and fulfilling his prophecy to corrupt his movement and eventually start the Roman Catholic church. It was well known amongst right wingers that Shapiro and Kirk we’re not on the same side, especially about Israel.
Jesus didn’t found the corrupt Catholic Church, but ok (don’t believe the lies of the Catholic Church that he did)
Republicans can very much make a martyr out of Kirk and exploit his story for their own gains, regardless of whether they fully agree with his ideology.
That’s true of any group of people on any one person, if they try hard enough. Because the ‘martyr’ is no longer around, those who are left can twist their ideology to fit their own. (Not disagreeing with you btw I do think they have twisted the narrative)
how is this a shitpost?
It’s a dumpy post about a shit man and a shit idea, of which the post is shitting on the aforementioned things
yes, american politics is not a shitpost
american 🤢
They named it after the meme song? Does it also carry the flame?
I’ll be perfectly honest: I haven’t heard the meme song, so I will gracefully duck out of this one, and make way for someone who has heard it to respond (I’m not listening to that AI shite)
Noone listens to the song because they like it. It’s to make fun of how much the right worships him.
Fuck Charlie Kirk.
No way this is real.
For real. Directed by Druski? The same Druski that did whiteface of Erika Kirk?
I could see either Druski making a parody or Ben Shabibo funding a movie, but definitely not both. And I’m not sure Benny-boy has the cash now anyway.
Nah, it appears to be fake news, but it’s all over social media see here: https://tribune.com.pk/story/2619982/is-obsession-star-michael-johnston-playing-charlie-kirk-viral-rumor-sparks-buzz
Still fun to imagine though
Yes, I agree. I meant “for real” as in, I’m also calling bullshit.
Ah ok fair enough
It’s suggested but not verified, but it is on every social media board. Either way, it’s funny to imagine
Edit: I believe you’re right. I shall have to amend the post. I’ve changed it so that people know it’s satire. Thanks for pointing that out
I’ve tried to tell people, the more you celebrate his death, the more you make him into a martyr and a “star”. His message will reach many more people than it ever would have if he was alive; the celebration exponentially so. For better or worse.
Yes, I know you will down vote me, and that’s okay, and now I am a very bad person and various other things. You win.
So brave.
No one cares about his death, not even the people on his side. That won’t change even if we make fun of him, because no one cares if we make fun of him either. He’s essentially irrelevant.
Correct. The only people who cared in any capacity were the people who could weaponise his death.
Do you mean by me posting about the film (there isn’t really a film it says) or about the notion of them making one? Coz I was just mocking really
The producers have already contacted your employer about you not liking the movie enough.
against my better judgment I put my thumb on my phone screen and moved it in a lateral motion towards the left, only to be bamboozled cause there was indeed no second image as the little 1/2 symbol in the corner indicated and it was indeed a prank at my expense yet I still proceeded to fall for it despite my initial fears warning me
Stop shooting Kirk
Shooting you say?
get that kirkcoin
