The occupied territories in Ukraine are full of torture facilities. If the war ends with the Russia gaining Ukraine’s territory, then the torture campaign will not only increase in intensity in the currently occupied territories, but will be spread to all of Ukraine. Ukrainians have seen for four years what happens to Ukrainians under Russian rule. The current suffering pales in comparison to what they have ahead if they capitulate.
Ukrainians want to choose the path of least suffering. And that is to take the missiles. The Russia cannot kill 40 million Ukrainians with missiles, but they can kill 40 million Ukrainians if Ukraine capitulates.
Ok. Then Russia invades Moldova. Okay another deal taken. Then Russia invades Finland. Take the deal alrady. Then Russia invades Poland. Just another deal I guess.
Do you see the problem with your rhetoric?
Selling your territory for your political career is literally the polar opposite of putting the country ahead of your wants.

Ironic of you to talk about putting countries ahead of one’s wants, considering that russians suffer from the war just as much lately, which happens because some old fart wanted to conquer Kyiv in three days, and now that he realized he won’t be able to take it, refuses to take the L, demanding Ukraine to give away the districts that his army didn’t even fully capture, prolonging the pointless human meat grinding against the drones.
