Hate to be this guy but peanuts are legumes. Nut allergies and peanut allergies are two different things. Even within nut allergies there are different reactions for different but groups.

As someone allergic to all tree nuts, most people (including a lot of restaurants) tend to think that I’m allergic to peanuts and coconut. I have to always state that peanuts and coconut are fine.
