An easy way to look at it is the working class if above the line, the people who own the parties rely on what’s below the line.
Those people have proven over and over they believe in making massive cuts to make the numbers below the line go up, even if they were making profit and churning out a good product. Making a worse product, and hurting those who work for you company doesn’t matter, so long as number go up.

I haven’t really seen anyone try to run against him. They’ve put people on the same ballots as him, but none of them have run a serious campaign that attempted to connect with voters.
