I used Startpage for a couple of years. They started pissing me off, so I switched to the Duck.

Startpage is owned and operated by Surfboard Holding BV, which is majority owned by System1, an American internet advertising company.

nothing is truly private, it’s about trade off and risk management. sometimes hopping on proton vpn and looking up yuri on google images is sufficient, but maybe that’s what I tell myself in the absense of greater knowledge.

I wasn’t aware they made an alternative front end to youtube, that might be something I’d use if it works

Google now forced to share search index with competitor in EU. Hopefully some other company make better search result, google not seem to want.

I’ve given up and I use edge. It works. If i want something that doesn’t track me, i fire up Tor.

At least work edge gives me money. And that’s nice. Getting those vouchers feels nice when you can turn it into guilt free hobby stuff
