Edit: replaced image, courtesy of Ickplant.
Original post that may have been AI:

The stock image is so much better than the ai slop, not even just because its slop but its just better shitposting
marx told me to be a hedonist
He certainly drank everyone under the table, as long as Engels was buying.
Marx doesn’t care about your individual participation in capitalism.
He was much more interested in systemic level critique. Your individual consumption will change nothing about the broader incentive structures that produce bad outcomes under capitalism.
We have no hope to change large systems. Too many people depend on them and most people don’t have the time or energy to even think about questioning them. Eventually the system will collapse. We will have to build something in the rubble. Think about how we can prepare for that time and what you can do individually to contribute to that.
Ai slop ruins everything
I’m gonna remake this meme with Vocaloid art when I get off work and post it because I relate to this meme so much
(note so I remember, Miku in the start of the ultrakill x miku YouTube fan animation is holding shopping bags, might wanna use that as the screenshot)
Hey so it’s been 20 minutes and I just wanted to ask
How is this? (I recognize that Shutterstock has ai slop too, and hopefully that is a real pic)

Perfect. I can replace the old one with this!
Hell yeah, stay classy
Can you link the image you posted at first? Kinda late to the party so I thought this was the AI image from the comments, until I saw this conversation. Just curious.
I dropped it in the body of the post for reference so that people finding this later can follow.
It was this one:

I can’t believe I have been blessed by @[email protected] themselves! Much appreciated.
I’m home from work :)

https://www.zerochan.net/4254097Nice one, lol. I tacked this on to the post too.
Holy shit the hand under the text is some cthulu shit. The shopping bag handles are confusing, why is one going into her sleeve?
Pretty sure this is AI
THIS LOOKS AI / I CAN TELL FROM SOME OF THE PIXELS AND FROM SEEING QUITE A FEW AI IN MY TIME.
Nevertheless, it’s funny :3
Actually I said, damn this looks like someone made a weird image of Nami with AI, lemme go run it through an AI checker to be sure. 93% positive
Sigh, i am getting old :)
I understood the reference, but I took it as ridicule over pointing out the image was most likely AI generated.
This is gold, with the original quote containing “shopping”. Made my day, thanks.
Left hand, the fingers are fucked, its AI
Isn’t that the right hand which is fucked up?
Which is begging the question: If you see a picture of an animal and want to point out something on one of its legs, do you use its perspective or yours to indicate left or right? How about chair legs? And so on.I am using the side of the person who is looking, as I have no respect for the slop of abominable intelligence. If that would be a real human, or made by one, I would use the perspective of the person in the picture as well as less harsch language
As for animals, see before, and I use front and back legs

forgive me Karl Marx for I have slopped
Forgive me Alan Turing
Forgive me Plato
The Cave analogy was from The Republic…
I get the feeling you haven’t read it. What do you think it’s about?
I have not read the republic as a collection. My impression is it doesn’t make any particular useful points: philosopher kings, states, etc.
The cave though has always been interesting, more for the art and imagery it has inspired than Plato’s use of it. Its included there and I’m sure it has some context I don’t understand.
I particularly like the idea of AI as the shadows om the wall of a cave. There’s something about the stretched contortions that aligns with the weird hallucinatory outputs.
Distract, don’t strike, rinse & repeat… 🙄
One of the things I do that I’m proud of is only buying clothes second hand and always taking clothes with me to donate. I need to feel that it’s at worst an equal exchange, but always try and mostly succeed in donating more than what I buy. I ask family and friends for stuff they don’t want or use, so I almost always have more than just exchanging my own stuff.
What did we collectively buy?
