I’m nowhere near as smart as I was when I was 15. This thing with mispronouncing words and getting sentences wrong happens to me all the time now and I find it so much easier to communicate via text than actually speaking. Most of the time I feel like I don’t know what’s going on and I actually thought today was Wednesday! Hooray for ageing! I miss teenage me.

    I’m in my 40s and yea, it’s real. I have these moments of clarity occasionally, where I realize I’ve been in brain fog so long.

    I think it is the stress overwhelming my ability to think. Autopilot fog.

    Most likely many of us are in the midst of a depression, many without knowing it.

      I have a story to tell you about “steak and chip” on a menu in China that I assumed was a mistranslation and was in fact, not.

      That chip was fucking huge though
