How thoughtless and heartless does someone have to be to write this shit knowing damned well half the voting public in the USA just got a second hand burn they cannot afford medical treatment for.

The problem is the other half that cries it’s being burned, they do absolutely nothing to mitigate this. Americans act like this is something that happened out of a vacuum, rather than take responsibility for decades upon decades of letting elected officials destroy your country. You all act like “it’s not me, I didn’t vote for this” but you all (every American) let this happen. Protesting for one day out of the year ain’t gonna cut it. Where’s the general strikes, and work stoppages, or actual outrage. The rest of the world looks at America and sees nobody actually doing anything. You guys could learn a lot about protesting from other countries like France for example.

The problem with striking for more then a week will probably leave you homeless and without a safety net, the rulling class know this and know they can sit us out. I think we will see more assassinations and shootings on both sides before anyone learns to protest better because thats more sustainable. Either you die or you get a roof over your head again.

Try reading your own comment. Quote “The problem with striking for more then a week will probably leave you homeless and without a safety net, the rulling class know this and know they can sit us out.”

so you’ve already given up without a fight.

I heard somebody say the other day that it’s like Trump’s brain rotted away a long time ago and he’s just controlled by his lizard brain now. He’s starting to look like a lizard.

I mean, most people operate primary on their lizard brain… even if they have a fully functional one. So yeah, part of why he’s so popular and charismatic… people relate to his rambling outbursts because that’s how they themselves think/feel.

And that’s why he’s also a big f you to the liberal elite who pride themselves on not operating on lizard brain.

This is beautiful. The only problem with this, and Jack White’s recent trump comment, is that they have too many words. Meaning republicans will never read them.

It wouldn’t matter if they did read it, MAGA doesn’t have critical thinking skills. To them, Trump is God and anything that says otherwise is terrorism against the United States. It’s that simple. If the Epstein files are only a moderate annoyance to Trump and won’t change MAGA’s opinions on him literally nothing will. Trump is a president on the child rapist list and that still isn’t enough to change MAGA’s minds. Nothing will, full stop. It doesn’t matter what anyone does at this point, Trump won. He has the executive branch, the legislative branch, the judicial branch, the armed forces, the state governments, all of law enforcement, and financial leaders on his side. What else is there?

Half of us adults can’t read at a 6th grade level. I think many of those can only do so if they really try, and mostly coast by in a haze

What was Jack White’s recent comment?

      Edit: Found this: https://www.the-independent.com/arts-entertainment/music/news/jack-white-donald-trump-white-house-oval-office-b2811499.html

On Monday (18 August), White House communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement to The Independent that White was “masquerading as a real artist”

Bahahahahahaha… Imagine anyone going to Steven fucking Cheung for insight about art. Fucking clowns.

How long until we start hearing about “degenerate art”?

I’m genuinely sick of seeing his face, hearing his voice or even being told by the news about the new stupid shit he said today. I’m sick of the people who idolize him when it should be so blatantly obvious to anyone with even a shred of human decency that every word in OP’s post is accurate.

This man is the embodiment of our inadequacy as a species.

As a nation you mean, not a species. I’ve been to so many countries where this man would never have made it to anything let alone fucking president. Trump didnt happen out of a vacuum, there is a very real fascist ROT in the core of the United States that needs to be dealt with once and for all.

That was the main reason why I was pissed off at his first and then again second election. Even here in Europe he was going to dominate the news cycle every single fucking day. And we are all dumber for having to listen to his incoherent blabbering.

When Biden won in 2020, I was so relieved. He wasn’t my pick in the primary, but the news wasn’t a constant stream of embarrassment and frustration. I hate that he’s back and so much worse.

Same here. I intentionally cover his face with my thumb whenever I can. I loathe the way he speaks, the way he looks, and the way he talks over the people he’s talking to, including Fox hosts who are doing nothing but licking his asshole. I can’t wait for the day he expires.

      If we’re lucky.

More than likely he’s here to stay once he gets rid of elections.

Don’t bury your head in the sand, but also know your limits. It’s okay, and even desirable, to unplug from what’s going on in the world for the sake of your mental health from time to time.
