These guys are so ready to jump on this that I think they are forgetting to actually think about what they are saying. I don’t think they are ready for what could happen if they try to deport this man. They would just create a martyr.

They would just create a martyr.

Which would lead to some civil unrest and they would just start shooting at people using live ammo.

I am afraid they are perfectly ready for that.

The only way you’re ever getting a chance at democracy back is with mass, violent civil unrest.

I’m afraid you’re not even bothering to prepare for that.

There are a growing number of people that are truly believing that some sort of armed resistance is what is needed. But, who wants to be the first to take up arms (or otherwise show a violent resistance)?

The US government and military have shown that they have no qualms about violently suppressing peaceful protests. Imagine what they would do to those that showed even an inkling of violence. Those who stand up first would be nothing but cannon fodder.

Who wants to be the first? To be martyred? There aren’t enough people who have nothing else left to lose. Not yet.

Me? No, I am not. But considering there is an ocean between me and United states, I suspect I wouldn’t be big help, prepared or not.

When the tree of Liberty is thirsty, all hands are welcome that are willing to help in the watering.

The person you are replying to said they are not in the US. @14th_cylon, I must apologize for my compatriot’s lack of geographic awareness.

This means “I don’t care where the fuck you are at, you can come on over and fight fascism if you want, we cool”

For the ones that are bloodthirsty, absolutely. But with how pissed off people are right now I don’t expect us to just go quietly into the night as they start shooting people. And I don’t think they are ready for those consequences.

Why would they care? It’s not the first red line they’d have crossed. Hell, it’s not even the tenth one this year. This is their new normal, and they aren’t going to stop until we all collectively stand up and make them stop.
