Well, I enjoyed the game when it first came out. I don’t have a PlayStation anymore so I’m excited to play it on PC… When it’s on sale. I’m not paying full price for a game I’ve already played before.

Helping. They are helping.
Innocent civilians are dying so Microsoft, Meta, Google, and Amazon can make more money. Seems mostly related to AI, but I’m sure it’s only the tip of the iceberg.
I’m still waiting for it to change my life.
I already don’t buy anything from Amazon anymore. Canceled my prime and haven’t bought anything from them in 6 months. If I can’t get it from any other specific online store I just go to the actual store. I honestly forgot how good it feels to do it too. Buying shit online is cool, but when you do it in person you actually get a feeling of accomplishment.
I highly recommend it.
I’d say that I hope nothing changes, but I honestly hope it escalates significantly. I’m so exhausted about hearing how companies are fucking us over every day.
But also with GOG you can download the installers and play offline. It’s literally one of their big selling points. It’s less convenient than things like steam, but you can do whatever the hell you want when you buy it. So in that regard, it literally is a purchase. Or as close as you can get with digital goods.
As I did with every other Rockstar game I have ever paid for, I’ll get it on sale. I’ve never really been a hardcore fan anyway. And I have such a backlog of games that by the time I’d get around to playing it, it will probably be on sale.
I’d rather own the games that I pay for than “rent” them in the first place. Sure, this is useful. But it doesn’t really solve the issue of not owning anything you buy these days. If anything this will just give them an excuse when they decide to take games you paid for away from you.
I mean, whenever I use Google these days I just scroll down all the way and work my way up. It’s basically subconscious at this point and it’s surprisingly helpful. Makes Google actually useful again.
Until they start charging only money for the battle passes. I never even used 80% of the skins I got on the battle passes anyway. I just wanted them so I didn’t not have them. As someone that has over 2,000 hours in Apex, I’m so glad I jumped ship. The grass was very green on the other side.
I’m not an expert, but I’d say it’s because your legs are basically half your body. Not only that but most leg exercises require the use of other muscles. Like, if you’re squatting with weights you are using pretty much every major muscle group in your body.
It’s pretty ridiculous that they are saying that FEMA is stealing donation money for themselves when the people they elected are trying as hard as they can to not give FEMA more money. Like, how fucking clueless can you be? And I guarantee the majority of people spreading this shit don’t even live in an affected area.
I cannot tell you how much better my mental health has been since I stopped playing Apex Legends, Overwatch, and Rocket League. I never had anything against the gameplay of these games but the microtransactions and battle passes were just straight up toxic. After a couple weeks you simply don’t give a shit anymore and it’s amazing. I see my roommate playing these games until 3 AM every day because he has to do his daily challenges for 4 different games. He’ll be so pissed off that he can barely speak as he powers through game after game to get them done so he can go to bed. And in hindsight, that’s probably what I used to look like back when I played those games.
For sure. It’s definitely a multi layer problem and our voting system is trash. We’ll always be stuck with a two party system as long as we stick with first past the post. And as long as we are stuck with two choices it will always be a shit show of “us vs them.” But at the same time the electoral college only makes things worse. I live in a very red area of the US even though I disagree with 70% of what they believe in. And even though I vote, I know for a fact that my vote literally means nothing outside of the popular vote. And it’s pretty disheartening to know that. I’m sure there are plenty of people like me that don’t even vote because they think it doesn’t matter so why even bother.
I won’t lie and say the solution or the problem are super easy. I’m just saying it’s fucked and definitely needs to change. And I’m a strong advocate for a two round system or something similar so people don’t have to just vote against the candidate they don’t want.
You guys literally trained each other to do this about everything. It’s your own damn fault.
I wish I was used to kilos but my American brain was trained on stupid freedom units and I hate it. I’m trying to get better at it, though. The hardest one for me is Celsius and fahrenheit because fahrenheit is so bad it’s hard to convert.
Losing weight is not an easy thing to do if you’ve been overweight most of your life. You literally have to fundamentally change everything about your life just to get it done. And it’s a slow process and a commitment that you have to stick to for months or even years. It can really fuck with your motivation when the progress is so slow you could go months and only lose like 10 pounds. I only went from 250 to about 150 but it was one of the hardest things I’ve done and I’ve quit smoking.
One of my friends is stuck right now because his mom took the car and bailed while he was taking out the dogs. So there’s also that…
One of my good friends lives in Tampa and his mom took the car and bailed while he was taking out the dogs. He’s stuck at home this very moment and I only hope he’s safe
Wtf even is Fortnite at this point? I’ve played it a couple times here and there but every time I hear news I just get more confused. I’m honestly surprised it still has the massive amount of players that it has. I haven’t heard any kids even talk about it lately and basically nobody my age plays it anymore.
