I’m as anti-conspiracy as anyone with two braincells to rub together, but simply believing that Bernie was unfairly treated and that he would have been a good choice for the country does not a simp make. It just means you had the gumption to believe in the consistency of a politician who’d spent some 30 years walking-the-walk and talking-the-talk.
The nomination was not stolen from Bernie - even getting within ~10% of Clinton was a miracle. Bernie was unfairly treated by the Dem party establishment - they did not want Bernie to win, and were not shy about that fact. These are not mutually exclusive positions.
That’s not the bad part it’s clinging to a now eighty-three year old as if he’s the only savior when he hasn’t even spent the time mentoring someone to take over his own seat much less built a movement it kind of sad.
I’m a fan of term limits so he shouldn’t even be in government anymore we need someone with fresh ideas.
I’m not interested in entering this argument (I lose IQ points every time I argue with a centrist), but I have to say: The inconsistency in your beliefs is palpable, Mr/Miss “I support Joe Biden”.
Imagine the Clinton campaign, the DNC, and mainstream media colluding in 2015 to boost Trump as a pied piper candidate because they thought he was “unelectable” - and Hillary losing to him.
Oh, wait that’s reality. You don’t need to imagine.
Trump is the current president of the US. Incidentally after the same DNC ghouls that made sure he would win in 2016 made sure he would win in 2024.
Maybe it is good to talk about who and how brought Trump into power, so that we can stop these people from bringing the next worse in line after Trump into power.
Imagine still simping for your guy after he lost his primary almost ten years ago.
“Imagine believing in something”

It’s only inconsistent if you ignore Harris and how she almost won.
You and reality don’t seem to be on good terms.
We’re fine thanks.
lol, good one.

That was ten years ago and you haven’t moved on.
Why does anyone have to “move on”? Why can’t we hold them accountable?
Is the ten year temper tantrum doing anything besides helping MAGA gain power?
What part is the “temper tantrum”?
Is this “temper tantrum” in the room with you now?
Maybe look at the meme at the top of the page.
You poor child. That’s what adults call a “joke”. Have you been not taking your medications?
Reality isn’t a mental illness and it’s not very funny to imply someone has one as a joke or insult either.

I’ve moved on, I’m just informing others that the Democrats are responsible for the situation we’re all in more than most know.
Thanks for your concern.
No, the people who voted Trump or didn’t vote are the ones to blame for the situation today.
Voting harder for Democrats isn’t the solution, that’s for sure.
If Democrats wanted to take responsibility, they would’ve shifted to the left and appealed to the many countless disenfranchised voters.
I feel it’s fair to say that both major parties are traitors to the American people at this point.
Both sides are the same is a lazy attitude and doing it while there’s no alternative is criminal.
I said they are both traitors. Not that the parties are the same.
We need to demand voting and election system reform after Trump is impeached or is otherwise removed from power.
Yeah, tear it all down and something is magically going to rise from the ashes right?
Why isn’t there an alternative? Could you explain in detail?
Because progressives blame everyone for holding them back while not organizing and building an effective party.
Mostly because they don’t think anyone else is left enough for them.
