Well, I didn’t vote for anyone in the U.S. since I don’t live there.
But my point is, non-authoritarians wouldn’t even suggest sending their own citizens to foreign prisons/camps. It’s cruel and unnecessary and it doesn’t solve the root of any issues. It’s just offloading your problems onto someone else.
Non authoritarians could absolutely do it if they pitched it during election campaign. There is nothing undemocratic about it if majority votes for it.
