As the Trump administration pushes for more deportations, the government has revived a long-abandoned program that lets local and state law enforcement challenge people on the street about immigration status — and possibly arrest them for deportation.
Well that’s just awesome, another reason for cops to “protect and serve”.
Maybe some folks will get some more money out of the inevitable lawsuits that will occur sometime in the next decade.
Once the lawsuits rack up they’ll pass immunity laws for ICE.
I bet it will happen within the year, faster if there’s a major incident involving ICE
