I honesty don’t care about reports or sub drama.
What is killing the lemmy experience for me is the constant clutter of US political outrage.
Being mad about things you can’t do anything about isn’t healthy.
Maybe it’s like this in other social media as well, I wouldn’t know much about that but I’m guessing Instagram and tick tock are probably less so given how uninformed their average user usually is.
I’d rather see another recycled meme than the 500th post about what the nazis in the USA are doing, get a fucking room, stop messing up my feed.
OC:
Just call me a rolled kebab, because I’ve been foiled again.
Yes, Reddit, notable for being the first social media where people recycled content
It’s like people don’t even know what an aggregate site is any more. Everything is a repost unless you’re actually creating new shit. And I don’t mean just changing the text on a popular image.
I want all the content you would get from searching google along the lines of:
“Best gaming input method 3 fingers right hand, no thumb left hand reddit”
I made up that example but it was a brief time where you could circumvent Google’s fuckery and get real answers but now everything is garbage with no worthwhile workarounds, and I want it back but obviously not on reddit
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss reddit. I’d still be terminally there if apollo still existed
As though Lemmy, or any other vote/like-driven social network, hasn’t been that from day 1?
You’d have to talk to the mod about making a rule against reddit reposts.
Aita for reposting reddit to Lemmy?
Better you wading through the muck than me. If you find something while mud larking, might as well show it off.
Probably. But I don’t mind the content because it not algorithm driven.
