I can’t understand the justification for breeding captive exotic cats.

If someone wants to adopt an exotic cat that was rescued from the illegal animal trade, and provide them as good of a life as possible, I can justify that. But breeding a wild animal that’s babies will be condemned to captivity doesn’t sit right with me.
