Eh, the term meme has come to encompass reposts of things from other outlets for some reason. I don’t like it, I think it waters down meme communities, and kills the fun of memes via it being harder to find good memes.
But I think it’s here to stay.
I agree with your point about making it harder to find good memes. Technically the original definition of “meme” from Dawkins would encompass this post, but it is more suited to [email protected] or wherever they found this. Wait, let me say it this way
