    Here’s a couple:

    • How did you find each other?

    • How transactional was/is it? As in, was your arrangement discussed before hand? Written down?

      1. I’m from a lower middle class family (that’s the best way to put it I guess since we weren’t poor but not “comfortable” either”). My best friend was dating this guy. This guy had an wealthy uncle. The wealthy uncle saw me on social media (mutuals) and asked my best friend if I’d be down for a date. It’s funny because I’m introverted and shy, so at first I wanted to say no, but then I remembered I had all of these dreams (getting my teeth done, laser hair removal, expensive skincare / hair treatments, fancy clothes, having a house and nice car, travelling, etc.) which who knows when (if ever) I’d be able to fulfil on my own - so at my best friend’s encouragement I went. Our first date was at a fancy restaurant, and it was the first time in my life when I was able to order exactly what I wanted without being stopped by the price, then he took me shopping and got me (among others) an iPhone 11 Pro Max (I remember this so well cause I always wanted an iPhone but they were too expensive for my family).

You know, our arrangement was never formally discussed. It was just naturally understood. You take care of my wants and needs and I take care of your wants and needs.

This is a good question because many derivates have been created from the original term: sugar girlfriend, spoiled girlfriend, etc. The old school meaning of sugar baby is an attractive young woman in a transactional (usually exclusive) relationship with an older wealthy man (so closer to the sugar girlfriend / spoiled girlfriend terms of today) - this is the best description of my situation. “Sugar baby” has evolved into becoming more of a synonym for high class escort these days though.

Ok, so in Season 6 episode 19 of Deep Space Nine, In the pale moonlight, do you think the moral and ethical compromises Captain Sisko makes to get the Romulans to join the Federations war against The Dominion were worth the lies, deception and murder of a Romulan Diplomat? Even if it helped lead the Alpha Quadrant to Victory over The Dominion.

Also, do you think Sisko was in the wrong to attack and blame Garak, even though Sisko knew and understood the lengths Garak would go, considering his time in the Obsidian Order?

What proof would I even offer about being a sugar baby, bank account statements…? And if you genuinely don’t see any difference between obvious fiction vs a relationship arrangement which is not even that uncommon, then I don’t know what to tell you. I care about my privacy. You can believe it’s fake, I don’t need to prove anything to anyone.

It’s not just personally for you, for this whole community. You can proof yourself to the mods or something like that.

I don’t see anything about this on the sidebar, without a system for this, it’s not really different from role playing to the outsider’s point of view

Why would I send personal info to the mods? Why would any private person want to do that for that matter? That’s invasive. I did random AMAs on Reddit too (casualiama and AMA subreddits) and none ask for “proof” either. The only one that asks for proof is the IAMA, the one for public figures - for obvious reasons.

I was gifted 2 properties (one on the seashore and one in the mountains) which my parents manage and then we split the income (tourism; the mountain one runs year long for tourists while the seashore one runs in the summer season). More than enough passive income for a comfy life.
