I really like Canva. I used Canva for education both in grad school and now at the school where I work. Its problem is that it thinks it is better than it actually is. It is throwing all these “features” nobody wants and is charging outrageous prices.
Seems to be the business model that “applies” (is applied) everywhere. This desire to grow the product, despite the product being awesome already.
Dammit, I use it for my business, and I’m not aware of a good replacement. So I will probably continue using it while being very unhappy about the price increase.
Figma is free and has similar features
Way too close to Ligma, and I say that as an out-of-touch 37 year old.

It was bought by oracle this year or maybe the end of last (off the top of my head). Pretty sure it’s headed for the same fate unfortunately
