His will to run was finally broken. He’s a lap dog now.
I have noticed that chunky dogs go around with chunky people and even chunky families.
I think the dogs get overindulged with food for the same reason as their owners overindulge on food.
Dogs do what their owners do, if the owners a chance, their dogs a choncc. Not to mention that dogs usually have the same food habits their owners do (open bowl, larger servings, sharing unhealthy people food)
Less likely to go on long walks too.
