Would it work out cheaper to buy a couple of the $15 heaters from Kmart and plug them in each room you want heated? Might not be able to heat while rooms, but surely at those prices, it’s better to use hearing to take the edge off, and using layers and savvy planning for the rest (ie only heat the rooms people are in, and try to concentrate everyone into as few places as practical)?
I haven’t had many issues with their heaters. Always get your electronics test and tagged yearly if you can, and make sure you keep the elements free of dust (use an air duster monthly to make sure nothing accumulates on the heating elements)
Heaters are definitely something you don’t want to FAFO with. I got lucky with an op shop find of a decent oil fin heater and then being gifted a nice DeLonghi wall mountable electric heater in almost new condition after my neighbour passed away…
Don’t know. Already only heat the central part of the house. Have a heater of our own too to actually move air. Wanted to be gone by March to avoid this!
Holy shit! Thats more than double mine and we ran the heater almost every day with basically 0 solar input.
Worth having a look at whats using all your juice. And that your power company is not sticking it to you. Ovo was cheapest last time I looked.
It’s the old as shit radiator. Consistent usage with last year, but price increase. One of the reasons for needing to move.

Don’t. No. No anko stuff.
My anko heater from Kmart burst into flames last year. And it eats electricity like a fucking beast.
I heart Anko

So so naughty
Anko, so hot right now. Anko.

Not worth the risk. They’re shithouse. 🤚

I agree. Couple of those oil column heaters in the bedrooms, a knock off oodie and electric throw or 2 in the lounge room. Would be a fuckton cheaper.
