I’ve started reading a book instead, and I’ll usually get through maybe ten pages, then come to the end of the chapter, and it’s a natural place to stop. Helps me avoid sitting there for too long browsing dank memes (pronounced may-mays).
I did 3 hours straight, how much you are?
Same when you get out of your car after an hour drive
Me this week cuz I threw out my back picking up my chonky ass labrador.
You can get blood clots in your legs doing this.
You should get up and walk around every 15 minutes.
Are you telling me to walk around during my shit?
I’m trying to save your life.
It’s nice to know that I live in a time where Satan’s maggoty cum fart is trying to save people’s lives.
Want there a subreddit back in the day with this exact thing in mind? Crazy “offensive” name, with a wholesome comment…
rimjobsteve iirc
If you spend more than 15 minutes shitting, you should maybe add some fiber in your diet.
How do i eat carbon fiber tho?
With gusto and aplomb
shredded and added to a smoothie /s
You need to try hard and believe in yourself. Commitment, bro. Commitment.
Could be IBS or IBD too – with IBS adding fiber either does fuck-all (although probably won’t hurt), and with IBD actually often makes things worse
Would drinking a little amount of magnesium help?
Help with what?
Taking extraordinarily long shits. It’s used as a laxative.
Oh it’s very often not constipation that causes those long shits when you have IBS or IBD, and a laxative is the last thing you’d want. Both do potentially cause constipation, but there’s better laxatives than magnesium – although apparently specifically with IBD magnesium might help with symptoms but we’re not talking laxative doses
I’ve got IBS-C and I’m one unhappy guy if I don’t get enough fiber for a meal or two.
Really?
Fiber just gives me gas which makes the C much more painful. Although I’ve been on the Wegovy diet for a while now, and constipation is far less frequent when you can only physically consume 200 calories of food
Oh yeah this is all of course assuming that someone’s getting enough fiber already – lots of people don’t. Especially US diets are often pretty fiber poor compared to eg. most parts of Europe
