So I’m right there with you lamenting that we ended up with these two as the only likely choices, but I don’t know if I would want “action movie protagonist” as the metric for what would make a “good” president.

One of them is clearly the bad guy. Like, I don’t fucking care that the guy who can organize the monied liberal elites to get enough support to actually beat Trump is old.
Biden does like six events a day. Constantly on the phone with world leaders, cabinet leaders. Check the calendar. Check the readouts. Every time he goes somewhere he takes questions. Gaggles all the time.
The claims that he is infirm or unfocused are meritless. His brain has always been way faster than his mouth. Trump has always been the opposite, and his brain is even slower now, obviously.
The fate of our future is in the hands of two old dudes.
