Tldr; Guy meets blind girl. They date. Guy gets his shit together. She proposes. They get married.
Plot twist: Jessica, at 12 or a little older, got black out drunk, stole her parents car, crashed and killed 2 people. ‘blunt force trama’ from the crash cost her her eye sight.
