      Sphynx cats need to be bathed like once a week, so they tend to get down with bath time. It pretty much comes down to training from a kitten

      If you have been doing the right thing and giving them regular baths since they were a kitten, it’s usually no problem at all.

      Depend on whether you train them since kitten and also the cat’s personality, none of my cats like bath, but i’ve seen some cat video with cat loving bath.

        My childhood cat had ringworm and had to be bathed with special shampoo for a while. He always loved human attention, so he loved the part where my mom wrapped him in a towel and packed him around. He loved it so much he’d come running when the water turned on, even though he didn’t really love the bath itself.

            I’m pretty sure my current cat would also hate it. She tolerates being packed around thanks to a lot of training haha.

        Yup, they can be trained. My parents neighbours took in a feral cat, about 1.5-2 years old. She HATED baths at first, literally had to get the oven mitts and eye protection for a quick wash.

        Then in 6 months they managed to desensitise her to water, and she now BEGS to be bathed every week.

          I’d argue that you need to desensitise cats to at least getting bathed. When they’ll get old, they cannot properly wash themselves and require baths. If they are used to baths the experience will be way less stressful for them.

          Some cats might never like it, but they will accept it… And won’t claw your face off. At least trim their claws before the bath to be safe

        Our cat used to take showers with my spouse before I moved in. She doesn’t anyone, but she does still barge in to make sure the spouse is being safe.

        Also having a non-slip surface can help a lot, since quite a few cats freak out when they slip on surfaces, AFAIK.
