Genuinely how hard is it to at least pretend you’re not a nazi pedophile while being a nazi pedophile?

Not that I’m complaining necessarily. At least they’re making it easy to know which companies to avoid.

If it’s up my ass, is it facing inward looking at my colon or facing outward looking at my underwear?

In the 90s, there was a funny website that had an article on the “world’s first rectal camera.” It was an article so I think it covered the “why” and “who” and “how” and everything. When they got to the photos, they were just normal photos with a round black border around them.

It was funny. I wish I could find it again.

The answer is to simply not work for them. The problem is that there is always someone willing to put up with poor working conditions and poor pay. Don’t be that someone.

Not everyone has the luxury to be choosy about their employer. Did you forget we are living in late stage capitalism with an ever growing impoverishment rate?

The company doesn’t pull you off the street and enslave you. You chose them. You fill out the application, you take the interview, you accept the offer. You’re not stuck, you can do it again. I’ve done it several times. I recognize it’s not easy but it is doable.

But where do you draw the line? If it’s a literal orphan-crushing-company? It’s in your power to not procreate and not to work at evil companies. The consequences are sadly also yours alone, that’s right.

No? Microsoft, x, meta, apple, every “ai”-company, every “modern” car-company, big oil, Samsung and the others, …

Wouldn’t work there, even if I had to.

Anectodally, once, when I still worked sometimes, I had the main-admin job at a very major nonprofit that aims to cure (some disease). Quit after a month of seeing how this monster worked. It was made to amass billions, the cellar was full of old people’s precious inheritance that was talked outta them by a whole floor of lawyers. And 0.2% actually went into curing the thing. While the ceos went home with 6figures starting with a 3, Audi r8s and unlimited budget for “business meetings”.

Noone cared. Noone. I was shocked by the ignorance.

In what third-world do you reside in that quitting an evil job will get you hungry and homeless? And even if you’d be living like a slave there, there would still be another job that is NOT evil or less.

Why? You don’t have a job, you get social security. Search for a new job all in peace and quiet. If not this month, then next. Or next year. It’s most likely not awesome nor drowning you in great riches, but you won’t starve and have a home. That’s what a society is, or at least should aspire to be. Help others.

Unless, as said, some third-world without any social net, then I’m sorry man, it probably sucks and your hate is maybe best directed at those who put you in such a miserable position.

As said, exclude third-world, they have it all bad, not just the social net.

Every so called first-world has at least some kind of social net. Unless you count the USA in, that’s a country of slaves and billionaires.

I find it a bit weird that you find it detestable if I had moral reservations about working at e.g. google or some other devil. That’s what morals are, you usually don’t sell them out for 1000 moneyz a month. Or else they were just nice-to-have-if-everything-else-is-sated. So basically a luxury and ultimately useless.

        It’s because it’s braindead “free market” cargo-cultism.

Merely not participating isn’t good enough. There are way too many shortsighted people in the world, making that sort of strategy a perpetual loser. This sort of shit can only be stopped by government regulation.

Gov regulations? You mean the gov (whichever country) that works for the capital and not the worker-ants? You mean this one? While you’re not technically wrong, the shortsightedness is also on your side my friend.

So, in the meantime, it’s up to everyone. Working there and waiting for the gov to same me…not happening.

It isn’t enough to not work for them. You must stop buying from them but no one wants the inconvenience of going without and so they keep sending trillions of dollars to the very despots that are ruining their lives.

Right, folks, just put on your job hats and go get a job working for a nice company!

Thats not reality. Most americans are already suffering, by design, and finding a job is hard. Your options are limited and even the better employers are shit. There is no good option. I agree that theres a difference between working as like a chief engineer for raytheon vs a stocker at aldis, but just saying “dont work for them” is meaningless and doesnt help. Literally execute them until they stop causing mass harm and THEN work on correcting the mass harm and stoppibg it in the future.

A long time ago, my then-scrum master pitched an idea to us: ID badges with little microphones. The microphones wouldn’t record anything, but they’d constantly monitor the ambient noise to see if we were having the kind of excited, buzzy conversations that signaled innovation. Once we had them, we could tune our days to maximize innovation.

I was brand new at the company but I told him that everyone was trying to catch lightning in a bottle, but nobody was willing to build a fucking battery. Then I told him the day we adopted that policy, I’d hand in my resignation. It never came up again.

Motherfuckers will try anything and they always have.
