without getting too personal or fedposting, i’m curious how much of this website’s userbase is imperial core vs periphery. obviously being primarily english-language already introduces a certain bias, but i honestly have no idea what our demographics look like.

Most of our users are both based in and from Anglo North America, namely US and Canada, at a whopping 40% (in both cases).
Guessed so cause of the time when something gets commented or posted.
However, the next most populated segment speaks only 1 language, at 27%. Do better, comrades!
Knowing at least one additional language, maybe from another language family, is helpful

Sorry, but you’ll be better off asking someone more knowledgeable, I’m just a student from Central India with little knowledge on CPI(M) and its legacy, know folk with very strong opinions but I’m not one of them, Indian electoral communist history is certainly very interesting and worthy of study though.
