It’s a strange thing to think about: traditionally the us military is so highly budgetted that we could afford to lose an excessive amount of high priced equipment and ordinance compared to anyone else. If we spend ten times a potential opponent, no problem
But now in a world with low priced drone swarms and almost as low priced third world missiles, the multiplier is thousands, tens of thousands …… I believe there were aircraft losses so the multiplier might be millions. Even the us military can’t afford a war with those multipliers. And that’s assuming we could build the ordinance fast enough
