        I vaguely remember him running for a presidential nomination and that he said some ridiculous stuff (though I don’t remember what he said anymore). Is the reference more recent? Since someone else mentioned it, does this have to do with how he died, apparently?

          A dead guy is talking to a dead guy.

          May also be poking fun at how a while after he died of Covid, his account started tweeting all kinds of GOP propaganda, including downplaying Covid.

    I like that he’s using the term Senior Senator to drive home the concept of a corpse with a pulse in office. But It’s not derogatory enough. The alteration is cute, but “Geriatric Senator” describes it more accurately. Maybe even "Decrepit Geriatric Senator. "
