Most people are on the internet. I learned quickly that Americans, despite being online, aren’t familiar with the phrase “don’t teach your grandmother to suck eggs”
Because their familiarity with a 16th century idiom is the benchmark of all knowledge, I guess.
I haven’t heard this used in like 30 years.
I mean because you don’t use it doesn’t mean no one does.
