We need more Graham Platners running and winning.

I can’t believe how many “liberals” are falling for the smear campaign by the right against him.

I’d rather have a candidate that admits his mistakes and has now adopted the correct positions, than these establishment freaks virtue signaling while supporting an orange pedophile war criminal.

It is not just the right doing the smearing. Just look at some of the comments on this thread. Tankies out in full force calling him a fascist while in the same breath defending anything Russia does.

It’s almost like some of those avowed leftist accounts might have common ground with the right and center in trying to keep the left from being successful. They want a progressive left that is an electoral failure, either because they’re accelerationists who think if things get bad enough then their fantasy government will emerge or they’re just straight up saboteurs. The worst thing that can happen is for popular progressives to gain power.

It’s not just the right, it’s the establishment. The shit he is saying challenges the oligarchy at its core, and the dominance of Israel over America.

Even if you are a hardcore leftist who doesn’t believe in the sanctity of our democracy then at least understand Platner represents a better boss battle then the other two options presented. (Though there were better options in the primary, but i digress)

Yeah, totally. That doesn’t mean we can’t / shouldn’t be aware of past actions and vehemently disavow them, especially now that he’s won! Hopefully, the next anti-establishment politician isn’t a murderer with a Nazi tattoo with intents to bolster the military and incentivize service.

Nobody that runs a campaign as apart of the two major parties is ever going to not bolster the military and not incentivize service. One of the major frustrations is that not a single Democrat or Republican ever wants to be seen as anti-military often because they have a constituency dependent on the military industrial complex.

That’s also why the DOD has never passed an audit while still getting a constantly ballooning budget.

Sounds like it’s time to establish a viable third party. Obviously, that is easier said than done, and many would consider it impossible. But left-wing sentiments continue to grow in popularity and we must not resign ourselves to a fate without challenging it!

It’s crazy to think about what a viable third party would look like, and how it would get off the ground. It’s tragic and says a lot about the world we live in that the only way I see it happening is through virality — memes and influencers — but then, how is this campaign funded in a way that competes with the corpo vaults, and how do you get the right people onboard?

Exactly! It shouldn’t be a crazy request to ask that an anti establishment politician didn’t previously have a tattoo of a symbol related to Nazism and working as a mercenary for U.S interest.

People should remember that Trump was labeled anti establishment by the media as well.
