          How is this question a follow-on to what I wrote? Seems a bit of a non-sequitur.

          That said, I’m generally for anything that can neuter global US hegemony without war. We’re the absolute worst influence on the world right now and have been for a century or so. I would definitely prefer a Chinese-arbitered trade hegemony to what we’re doing now, even considering the material luxury we might lose out on as a result.

        I don’t know that any authoritarian regime is that forward-thinking.

        I think every capitalist entity is ran by men flying by the seat of their money-grubbing pants who’d be the first to cave on the thieves dilemma, and have subsequently bent this human centipede of a system into ouroboros for all humanity.

        All so they die closer to the end of its blink of an existence than the rest of us.

        Oh to be run by a smart, long-term thinking cabal instead of these fucking idiots.
