One of the men told the court: “I was charged with saying ‘From the River to the Sea,’ the great crime of the century”.

Another ABC article about this where they uncritically present Israel’s opinion on the phrases and ignore what the phrase actually means.

Or the fact that interpretations of it vary among people. Palestine already exists from the river to the sea, all I want is freedom and self determination for their people and that doesn’t include violence toward Jews.

Why is every government’s tongue so far up the arsehole of Israel? They are literally comitting war crimes (so I can see why the US are their best mates), but why is everyone else falling over themselves to shelter them from any criticism?

I don’t truly know. What I do know is like you I’ve had a gutful of it.

I’m afraid we are going to have to get off our arses more often than we want to, to make these majors behave. The problem is so much of the country is swinging bogan right and not the other way. We need it to go the other way not just to move the Overton window back but stop this arse licking of a genocidal state.

That’s another thing I just don’t get… How do people look at how things are playing out, and think that someone like Pauline is the way to go?

We’re copying Americas homework, right down to electing grifters who are actively working against our best interests. Why???

I don’t understand how two people can look at the same evidence and reach such polar opposite conclusions.

Yep, it’s insane. The evidence of who Hanson works and stands for is absolutely clear, her corruption with past receipts, dogshit candidates that often don’t even get past their criminal records.

It can only be anger and hatred, either directed from personal grievance or aimed at certain groups. It’s volatile too, you see Greens senators being told on other networks that Aussies would turn up with guns etc if they were elected, I saw that myself this morning.

That’s the other thing; we see clearly who is putting their arses on the line for us among this major party astroturfing staffer quality shit.

It really is insane. I guess a lot of people once reasonably rational are cooked. We saw this all with the referendum though. It has to be hatred or driven by anger.
