I’d sign, but I’ve absolutely lost faith that this government won’t then disclose the list of names to a third party.

They’ve hardly been operating with transparency when it comes to this kind of stuff.

In the same vein as what SeeMarkFly said. If we’re all on a watch list then none of us are.

They only have so many resources to go around.

Authoritarianism thrives on fear and people keeping quiet. Be as vocal as possible and encourage friends and family to do so as well, before it’s too late. The more of us there are, the less repercussions they can bring down upon us.

      In solidarity.

It’s a noble sentiment that I’d love to support but historically if you look at countries like Chile, fascists will round up masses of people. I’ve always not understood why anti-fascists don’t plan for contingencies like having to go underground - especially as we can see the way things are travelling in places like the UK.

No need to do their fearmongering for them.

Fascists are never as powerful as they project. Their whole ideology consists of scaring people into line because they don’t have the means to do it any other way. Don’t let the bastards win.

Our strength is in numbers, we outnumber them immensely, not fracturing into individualists in some hope that it will result in self preservation. It’s a stupid tactic that backfires for both the antifascist movement as a whole and individuals.

If you are NOT on a government watch list by now you should be ashamed of yourself.

You can sign the petition, but you’d be naive to think the UK government will do anything about it.

Never again… Unless you buy the weapons directly from us.

    UK government… probably.

Even if there is a investigation, it’ll probably go in a similar direction as the Russia Report a few years ago: stalled, played around like a political football, then forgotten about, or anything meaningful being “out of scope”.

Genuine question, where does Israel get all this money and influence to infiltrate such world powers?

Russia I get, with their population their government has lots of resources and is isolationist.

But then here is Israel, small country, very integrated into the western world; yet can get away with shit that even china can’t pull off (just exaggerating, I’m sure china meddles too).

Well it all started back in the times of the Roman Empire…

      (It’s a really long story)

Edit: starting with the money part at least

Theres also the position that many of our current politicians don’t need to be paid off to support israel. Their racism and genocidal beliefs align with the goals of the occupation for free.

Scotland and the UK did have referendums though. So politicians can call them at least. I don’t understand the clown emoji, are you calling me a clown? I think it’s a reasonable question given the aformentioned referendum to leave the EU and scotland to remain in the UK, a decision they really bungled.

There have only ever been three national referendums, none of which were petitioned for. All were the result of backhanded skullduggery.
