    Well, on the bright side, this is going to get lot more people out into the streets, and protests are already bigger than they’ve ever been.

    I’m holding hope that the MAGA destruction hits so hard that the pendulum is forced to aggressively swing back in the other direction.

      That was my hope after bush 2, then again after first trump term. Then the country provided republicons every lever of power as a reward. I’m not holding my breath of anything swinging anywhere.

        Problem is the pendulum did swing back but it swung to the “left” aka to neolibs. Now it’s been broken and swung so far to the right that I hope it responds in kind next time around and we get actual progressives in office.

          I think there’s an increasing likelihood that the pendulum just breaks and falls to the ground rather than swinging any kind of way.

      We need more people daily who are protesting and making connections. Then with connections made to get things done. Everyone can focus on different issues to overhaul all of this. Run For Something, Marc Elias are good examples on Bluesky on what we need more of
