My husband has changed his mind Political positivity Guys, Hubbs has been vaguely Trumpy for 10 years because he was of the opinion that “all of them are corrupt” or whatever. His extended family is MAGA but we are definitely not (wife, teenage son, teenage daughter). It has been a major point of contention in our marriage. But he admitted to me today that he has totally switched sides. He said that after the first 2 weeks of this new administration, he realized that this guy is a total jackass and this new thing with Iran is totally wrong. It took a lot for him to admit this. So…progress!
If this is real, that’s progress. It takes a lot to change heavily entrenched views like that, especially when most of your social circles support them as well. Now, we can rant and rave until the cows come home about how he supported Trump AT ALL while married to someone who didn’t, but that’s not especially productive.
