The question is what will convince individual troops and units that their orders are illegal. Disobeying orders isn’t something the military takes lightly. In theory a court order should be proof enough, but who knows these days.
And rather than fighting against people who can’t reach your home, those protestors can strike back. I hope anyone in the military realises that he’s putting their own family at harms way. That may very well change the equation. I’m sure they are willing to risk their own lives, but are they also willing to risk the lives of the kids?
