Suggesting getting professional help out of legitimate concern is ableist? Do you see how preposterous and contradictory that concept is? I want you to be able to get help so you can stop being tormented by whatever is allowing you to be such an awful person and be okay with it. Only someone who is truly suffering would be willing to say and do the things you have here.
I also hope you realize that by crying wolf using “ableism” diminishes the weight it has when someone is actually being ableist. Don’t throw around that accusation so flippantly if you want people to be able to be taken seriously.

Not only is there no shame in it, since everyone should see a psychologist like we do regular dentist visits, it’s a sign of strength in the face of the culture that does try to shame people for it.
