I have seen the aftermath from when someone roll her foot in platform heels. (I was nearby, but didn’t see her foot go perpendicular to her leg like I heard about afterwards.) It was many years ago and I don’t think of it often, but I don’t recall ever buying any kind of platform shoe ever again after that.
